You got'cha hair done and your nails done too...

It's Saturday night people! Are you ready to party?
Oh, I'm not... I forgot I've got some M.A. thesis to write... damn!
Anyway in the meantime I had a break from writing & made this card for my Sister-in-law's B'day. Yes, she's getting ready for a party!
Mirror mirror on the wall... meh, you don't need to ask. My Brother has got a really beautiful wife!
The digi is from My Heart Pieces Digital Stamp & you can buy it HERE. I won the digi at one of those fantastic challenges! It's cute! I painted it with watercolors and concentrated on the colors my Sister-in-law loves to wear: purple, teal, navy blue, green.

To make the beauty complete, here's the bottle of perfume - a cutest little charm I've ever seen. The bow is made by myself. By the way: can you believe I'm allergic to perfumes? Isn't life cruel???
The sentiment says: 'Someone HAS TO look beautiful tonight'. My Sister-in-law is a mother of 2 (2,5 year old son and 1 year old daughter), but she always looks attractive. And she was wearing high heels even when she was pregnant. Till the very end!
The flowers are made by me using punches. So obvious LOL
The B'day party is tomorrow. Hope she will like the card...

3rd place

It's been a very busy week, but the weekend starts with very merry berry message. I made the 3rd place at
with my GDT card
THANK YOU!!! You all inspire and motivate me!
Hugs and have you all a great weekend!

Keep fit!

It's Tuesday again, so there is a new, fantastic challenge at
http://i763.photobucket.com/albums/xx276/allen8901/il_fullxfull_123475275-2.gif
SPORTS ANYONE?
Yes. That's the theme. Come on, just do it. Impossible is nothing!

My DT card is made according to the Friday Sketch Challenge's sketch:

and it goes like this:
This sweet and sweating turtle comes from HERE. It's a freebie, you can have it. I've painted the turtle with watercolors and concentrated on this color palette: green & brown.
The tag says 'Keep fit' and as we can see keeping fit is a hard work.
There is also an apple charm here, 'cos as people say 'An apple a day keeps doctors away' (we also have such proverb in Poland, something like 'Eat an apple in the evening, so you won't need a doctor').
As you probably remember, I am a fitness instructor, so I can tell, how much work you have to put in yourself to keep fit. But the advantages are priceless! So, sports anyone?

TOP 3

Weeeee! I like Mondays!!!
I just found out I am the TOP 3 at the latest
with this card:
THANK YOU!!!
yay!

Sweet treats & coffee

This is my second (and last) challenge as a GDT for
Photobucket
This week the challenge is
SWEET TREATS
which should be in the images used.
The sponsor for this challenge is

Here's my GDT card:
I used the sponsor's image Charlotte and Her Strawberries Pudding, sooo sweet!
The card is made according to the sketch from Stamps & Fun = Creativity:

I've painted the image with watercolors, and made the pudding chocolate, it goes very well with strawberries LOL
I really love this little kitty charm, it is also soooo sweet.
The flowers are from haberdashery, and I stated I have got mainly pink flowers at my stash. I have no idea when it happened!
I've decided not to put any sentiment on this card at all, so it is suitable for any occasion.
This card is also for the following challenges:

From Russia with love

This will be another great challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
The theme is AROUND THE WORLD. Is there something that needs to be explain? I don't think so LOL
The sponsor for this challenge is

The idea of my DT card was to make something folk. I used the sponsor's dolls to create Russian Matrioshkas. As a child I had some Matrioshka dolls, but there were not three, but maybe five or six of them.
Poland, from which I come from, is a Russia's neighbour, so it's easy to buy some things coming from our Eastern border. I wanted the dolls not to be different sizes only, but to make them also look 3D, that's why I used a 3D tape.
The serviette is also folk-inspired, I think this is the common element for many cultures. The flowers are made using different punches, and I also added a lot of bling, 'cos this is how the folk outfit rings my bell.
I remember I have been learning Russian in primary school for 4 years, and I still can read their letters. Lots of people abroad think we - Polish people - are Russian when they hear our language. It maybe sounds similar, but it isn't (this is exacly how I hear the Scandinavian languages - they're all the same for me) LOL
Anyway, all the people all around the world: we are all exceptional and we all need love, respect and a little of kindness. Take care!

Juggling B'day

It's time for another great challenge at
Photobucket
This time the theme is B-DAY, but there's a twist: you have to use twine and at least 1 button!
How cool is that?
The sponsor of this month's price is

It was not easy to choose the digi for my card, they have so many wonderful digis!
Anyway I've decided to use the Clown Around - Hat digi for this card:
When I saw this clown and knew that I have to use buttons, I already knewn what I'm gonna do. A juggling clown! The stamp is painted with watercolors, very simply this time.
The twine is a fuzzy one, my Mom gave me some leftovers from her knitting. The card is colorful, like the clown.

Let's play a game!

This was a horrible week at work. As I said before the beginning of a new school year is a brain disaster for teachers, so I didn't even touch this blog since Monday... My fitness and dance classes also started this week, so I had to organise it all. The weekend is my 'study' weekend, so there will be no weekend in fact, but, yeah, I'm glad it all goes back to 'normal', the only disadvantage is that I haven't got so much time for crafting, like during summer break.

There are also some good news. I have been invited to be a GDT for

at their newset challenge
ANYTHING GOES FOR KIDS.
Thank you so much for your appreciation, Ladies!

The sponsor for this challenge is

Here's my card:
I've decided to make a boy card using the sponsor's image ANIME SOCCER. It reminds me of the little boys at my school playing soccer every break between the lessons and after school.
The stamp is painted with watercolors and I have to admit, it goes better every next time I'm coloring. I also decided to make this card accoring to a sketch from A Die For A Sketch Challenge Blog:

I really like this color combo of blue and green and have no idea why I used it just for the first time, it's so energetic and suitable for boy's cards! The buttons are faux buttons made with my button paper punch. The sentiment says 'Happy B'day - this is your day'.
These are probably the last warm days, so let's go outside as many times as we can!
I will be collecting my soccer team at the following challenges:

TOP 5

This is the best way to start a new week: find out, that you've made TOP 5 at
lovetocreate
with my DT card:
I just looooove such Mondays! Thank you so much!!!

Only dance makes sense!

This is the card for a dancer and made by dancer. I always wanted to dance in a ballet, but I was too 'old', when I realised that, so I started with ballroom dancing. But ballet is still my biggest love.
This card has been made according to Mojo Monday sketch & some color inspiration by Play Date Cafe. Here they are:

There are three dancers here: one in the front of the card, one inside and one as a charm. This flower comes from my Mom's collection of handmade work.
This came out by accident. My friend gave me some dancer silhouettes cut of a white paper. I needed a black silhouette here, so I inked it, and when I lifted the silhouette, such interesting view caught my eye. 'That's the idea!' I thought. LOL
There is also a tag saying 'Happy Birthday'. I don't know why the colors appear here so warm, maybe it's the light, in reality they are exactly like in the inspiration pic.
This flower is made by me, I really like making them, it's just circles, so easy!
And here's the third dancer - the one that was supposed to be in the front at the beginning.
Anybody for a 'pas de deux'? If yes, please follow my steps here:
