How to: spend most precious moments with your granny

Happy Wednesday everyone! Why? Just like that! Why not?
Here we are having another wonderful challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
and it's A SKETCH!

The sponsor for this challenge is
MY HEART PIECES.

Here's my interpretation of the sketch:
I've rotated the sketch, because of the digi's shape. The sentiment on a tag says: 'The best things in life are free'. You don't need to pay anything for spending some time with your granny. And it doesn't cost a thing to read a story to your grandchildren.
The digi is from our sponsor, and you can find it HERE. I haven't colored it at all, just inked around.
The flowers are from haberdashery, and there are some dies used: a heart from Marianne's Design, and a cute tea time border from Cottage Cutz.
Here are some swirls die from Joy Crafts used and I added many pearls this time.
The distressing is very suitable here, it gives a little touch of vintage.
The card is also for the following challenges:

How to: Run in the snow

I've printed some vintage X-mas collages from Magic Moonlight Free Images blog so I was determined to stay in a vintage mood. I made 3 cards up till now, and it's definitely TOO SLOW!
One of them is this one:
I really like the blue-kraft-white color combo. This is an X-mas card & the sentiment is hidden on a tag. It says 'Merry Christmas'.
The kids on the image are running in the snow and I can bet, it's the first snow this winter! Just look at their faces!
I was testing my new arrived die cuts and I'm really glad I bought them. The picket fence is from Cottage Cuts, as well as the tree & the birds.
The text is a page from a Polish book from 1972. Here I used another new die, from Nellie's Choice this time. And in the corner it's a wonderful die from Memory Box. I keep on testing different dies with my Big Shot machine and I'm sorry that the worst up till now are those from Marianne's Design... The ribbon is from a second hand store and it's a piece of a scarf.
We already had our first snow here a few weeks ago. And how about you?
The card is for the following challenges:

How to: keep warm during winter time

I am still trying to speed up my Christmas cards work, but this is so hard doing all those things I do. Anyway I keep on trying...
This is the card I made today between my lessons at school and my dance classes:
This time I decided to make a male X-mas card, so my inspiration was this photo by Sketchy Colors:

as well as this sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp:

For this card I used the digi of father & son during winter walk (?). You can find it HERE. They are dressed properly I guess. I colored the digi with coloring pencils this time. The 'son' is popped up with some 3D tape.
The green twigs are from Tesco's decorative items and this white thing (I have no idea how it's called) I bought a year ago at some X-mas sale and I was going to use it for kid's crafting (which never happened).
The sentiment says 'Have a warm X-mas', as 'warm' means both 'hot' and 'warm'hearted' in Polish, too.
Are you ready to dress properly for winter? The weather has changed today and it seems like it's gonna snow during next few days here.
The card is for the following challenges:

How to: have some time for love

Hellllllllo everyone! I hope everyone will have a great week! Just celebrate with
Photobucket
What's the occasion? PUMPKINS! 'Cos the next challenge is PUMPKIN PLEASE!
Yummy!

My DT card is a little bit different this time. I went more romantic way and created a card with some shabby chic style, which I adore, but still can't make good projects. Here I am really glad of the effect. First of all I didn't want my card to be orange.
Then I found this beautiful digi and you can find it HERE. Isn't it adorable? Then I found at my stash this doily with 'Time for love' sentiment, so I decided everything will be about time and love here. And no orange LOL
I've printed the image at kraft paper. The whole card is made according to the sketch from Friday Sketch Challenge:

The flower is handmade supported by Sizzix Tattered Florals die (my favourite) and it's made from a coffee filter. The clock hands come from another Sizzix Bigz die.
I also love tags very much, but I always wonder what should I write on them. Here I decided not to write anything, just placed two hearts from Marianne Design's die.
The small clock comes from the same sheet as the doily is, and the great clock is a well-known one to all crafters. Here's the closeup of the flower again and the leaf from dismantled Tesco's decoration.
So the card is brown-cream and I like it.
Here are the challenges I'm entering:

How to: have a pocket full of flowers

I was asked to make a card for somebody's Mother in Law, and the only wish was that the card should be mostly orange and green. I decided to make a pocket card with some flowers exploding from the inside. Here's what I made:
I used the papers I bought at the beginning of the year, they are so pretty and vintage, but I had no idea for them. Here they suited perfectly. The flowers are made from ELLE magazine ads using the Sizzix Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die. I also added some ornaments, by Sizzix too.
The ribbon is dismantled from a bouquet (as well as the green georgette material) and the sentiment says 'Best wishes'. It's been written by me, 'cos it's a 'handmade card' at last! LOL

How to: make Christmas shopping

Wow, it's amazing, I made another X-mas card, so now I'm having... wait... 6 of them! Geeee, it's gonna really be a disaster, I'm afraid...
Anyway
This card is made according to the sketch from 2 Sisters Challenge Blog:
sketch november 2012
and the color palette is from City Crafter Challenge Blog:

and of course there's a tree at my card, too, as the challenge requires. Here's my card:
Have you made your Christmas shopping, yet? At my country the heat just begun! I'm too busy now to participate in it, but I see people running around with the craziness in their eyes. People, calm down, it's November!
The digi is from Sliekje Digi Stamps and you can find it HERE. It's being painted with watercolors.
Here's the Christmas tree from Marianne's Design die, I finally found a way to both cut it & emboss it with my Big Shot machine. The other snowlake is from Joy Craft. The ribbon is made by me.
The other dies are from Sizzix. The sentiment says 'Merry X-mas' and it's a sticker put on the piece of ribbon (dismantled from a bouquet).
I added a white paint all around to make the card more 'freezing'.
The card is for the following challenges:

How to: make a TOP 3

One of the Polish sayings is 'On Monday you will find out what will be the week'. And yes, it is! It looks like the 'choo choo train' card was a wowzer this week. I got some awards on Monday and now I found out there's more!!!
With this card I made TOP 3 at
 and at

where I found out about the spotlight technique and been doing it for the first time!
Thank you all and wish you a funtastic weekend!

How to: Case it!

The time doesn't fly... it travels with the speed of light! That's my conclusion from the last few weeks. If anybody have seen October, please let me know, 'cos I missed it... meh...
Anyway
It's time for the next challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
which is CASE IT! How cool is that?
The sponsor for this challenge is

San's Design
So, what we are casing? We are casing a card made by TIETS, a very talented Lady. Here's her card:
The thing that caught my eye at once was this diamond patterner paper, very vintage & very stylish. And here's my DT card:
I used the sponsor's image which can be found HERE. The card is also made according to the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge blog:

I've inked the image with a distressing ink, there's a lot of inking here infact.
The sentiment says 'All the best for you'. The flowers are also inked, they are dismantled (yeah, you know me!) from a bunch of material flowers. They were originally white, as well as the flower in the middle, which comes from my stash.
I repeated the oval shape and the paper inside.
I've had a lot of fun making this card, I really loved casing it and have to try that again!
