Neutral

As soon as I finished this card my friend called me she needs a B'day card right away! So this is the fastest card-walkaway ever.
I have to say that when you start arts & crafts activity, your way of looking at ordinary things is a little bit different. For example: let's think about coffee filter - isn't it a wonderful material for flowers?
So I stamped the coffee filter and embossed it with a transparent embossing powder. Then cut it out and squashed.
There is also 2 ribbons, a lace, a string and two buttons - as my friend said I have a button on almost every card ;) The text says "For your B'day - this is your day".
And here's my "making of" mess - I don't have a special place for my crafts, as we have a little flat, so I annex the whole table (and a place under the table, and all over the table). Fortunately my beloved partner is a very tolerant person.
This card goes for the following challenges:

A child - a person

I'm maybe childish, but I'm not child-enthusiastic cards, anyway, it's always worth to try. I've decided to go with a baby-girl card, so the colours seem quite obvious:
The card is made according to the following sketch:

The sentence is by Stacia Tauscher, but it is very close to the Polish pedagogue Janusz Korczak, who always emphasised, that the child IS a person, not only a candidate for person.
The sentence's background is being stamped with butterflies stamp.
The digi is a freebie, you can find it HERE.
I've repeated the motive of the girl's ribbon using some wool leftovers.
The green at the card gives her some contrast to the monochromatic pinks and purples:

The little girl is visiting the following blogs:

Bottoms up!

This card is for my male friend, who's turning 40-something :D
He is a wine gourmand, so it couldn't be any other way than making a wine card:
I used the wrapping paper bought especially for this purpose:
The idea was to make a 3D card, and the wrapping papers are ideal for this - the motives are repetitious, so you can easily cut them out and place one above the other. I also used a 3D self-adhesive tape.
The grapes are made of flimsy (is this the word?) in a way the kids in a kindergarten do it: squeezing and rolling.
I ddid'n want this card to be overloaded, so I only added two metal elements and a "Happy Birthday" text.

Choo-choo B'day train

This card is for my 2-years old nephew Grzesiu. He is fascinated about trains, trams, trolleys, everything that goes with rails. I made this card according to Dutch Dare sketch:
And it goes like this:
The choo-chootrain is a button, which I bought at latest arts & craft local show, just for this card.
The rails are from FISKARS stamps, embossed with a transparent powder and heated over a candle - as usual.
Because I wanted to use earth tones, the ribbons are quite suitable, I guess, as well as the buttons.
The B'day party is tomorrow, hope he likes the card, as well as the presents :D
The choo-choo train stops on the following stations:

First Wedding card ever!

This was never my favourite, but I decided to try... I never made such complicated (for me - the beginner!) card, either, so I was very concentated during whole work. The effect is as follows:
I really like the http://sliekje.blogspot.com/  stamps - the cuttest place in the world ever!
And here come my favourite haberdashery flowers:
The folding is made in such way, so you can receive a 6x6 card after closing it.
The text comes from The Dixie Cups "Chapel of love" (1964)
And here are some flowers & butterflies again!
  The wedding takes place here:

His Majesty, Sir Frog!

It was lots of fun making this project. Just look at that grin!
This flower is made using a punch and a piece of squashed paper. The background is being stamped with a stamp full of butterflies.
As I concentrated on two colours (+ white - does it count?), it seems they are my favourite flowers. But aren't they adorable?
The text refers to the Disney's Snow White song from 1937. "Someday my Prince will come" - raise your hand if you didn't think so when you were a young girl! Nobody? Anybody? :D
His Majesty, Sir Frog is going to participate in the following challenges:

I'm a sailor...

That was a real challenge... Nautical & male cards together + a little bit of my favourite vinage. I just wanted my card to be perfect... Maybe it's not, but I'm really content of it.
The ship has been cut out of some presents wrapping paper - sometimes they are a really interesting material for crafts. You just gotta look closer ;)
Anyway I also stamped the ship's elements using FISKARS stamps and  cut out some definitions from an English dictionary edited in 1916 (OK, now I can imagine the book worms faint). I bought it at Polish version of e-bay (www.allegro.pl). And it costed me peanuts!
The buttons I found in my stash - I have no idea where they are from. My friend inspired me to stamp some material and... voila! Suits just perfect for me!
Can you feel the sea breeze and the smell of rum?
On board everyone!!!

Another great message!

Yay! It so excited! Especially regarding the fact this it's so personal project. Thank you so much!
Have a really cool day!

April showers

Yep, we definitely have an April shower here... I guess the valve is broken, so it keeps on raining....
ANYWAY: I have an April shower at my card, too. Those two poor hedgehogs are really adorable (look for them at http://sliekje.blogspot.com/).

And look, the rain really broghut bunches of flowers! And one butterfly ;)

The daisy paper is really simple & elegant - I'm not sure about the layout of this sentiment, but that's all I could think about at this moment.

Squeezing is my favourite technique lately - this is an ordinary wrapping paper stamped and inked.

That was my first ever ever easel card - my brain just hurts of thinking about the construction of such card (JK, I used a template, anyway three-dimensional thinking is not my strength).

Just one note:
One of my friends asked me whether those are autumn colours? Hmmm... Here is the picture taken during walk at my town: what you can see? Brown, green & yellow! Sooooo, there are definitely SPRING colours (there's an April shower, too).

Great message!

Weeee, this is another great message! I got the "Featured Designer" title in http://cardabilities.blogspot.com/ as the top 5 viewed projects with this card:
Thank you so much, people!

Let's fly away

Shaped cards are still a big challenge for me, as I feel I'm doing best with 6x6 size - it's more comfy. Anyway I was thinking what shape is not so common (in my opinion). A butterfly! To make a template I used a sketch from children colouring book.

The flower is made manualy just squashing the paper.
Those flowers are from local haberdashery shop.
And here's the gause again, inked green and sew up together with the flower.
