Full house

Mother's Day has gone, from now on it's Father's Day rush!
Male cards are quite problematic for me yet, anyway this time I've had an idea.
In May I was visiting Cesky Krumlov (which I highly recommend for visiting! Beutiful place!). On one of those little streets I found a shop, and there was this beautiful wrapping paper with poker cards. I couldn't resist to buy it! As I mentioned before, wrapping papers are fantastic material for making 3D cards!
The motives on wrapping paper are repeated, so you can cut them and place one over the other as many times, as you like. The text says 'May good fortune be with you'.
The coinage is real Polish penny - grosz (0,01 PLN, 0,02 PLN and 0,05 PLN).
Under the cards there is a vintage multiplication chart, just to make the game easier.
I repeated the motive inside the card.
So it looks like this:
If you would like to join the poker game and have some penny to lose, please come here:

Mother's Day part 3

As we say here in Poland: 'The shoemaker walks without shoes'... I made Mother's Day cards for every mother in the world beside my only one... Fotrunatley - as She is the Best Mother in the Universe - she understands that and stays patient waiting for her turn... Love U Mom with all my heart!!!
Anyway...
This is the card for my fiance's Mother, so it is quite important, too (as my future Mother-in-law)
This is her own picture as a 20-year old girl. Hope she doesn't mind :D
The tag says "The best Mother in the world" - as every kid thinks his mother is the best one.
Ladybugs are symolising the good luck in my country (I'm not sure whether it's international?).
The roses are made by myself, as well as the pins, which are my very first pins ever! And it's a lot of fun making them!
I als added a charm with a heart to give the card more vintage look.
The card is definitely 3D!
My furure-Mother-in-law is visiting the following challenges (and please, honour her with a cup of coffee!):

A shirt

My friend asked me to make her a card for her boyfriend. I always liked the shirt-like cards, so I decided to make one.
Who said men can't wear pastel colours? And who said, they can't have some flowers in their pocket?
I made the flowers experimenting with my new punches. And stated I need some leaf punches. Urgently!
I used some 3D tape to make the shirt looking more naturally.
Inside of the card there are the same flowers like those in the pocket.

Vintage Mother's Day

I was wondering whether 'vintage' always means 'brown colour palette'... This time I tried to make it more colorful way and I used the color scheme from one of the challenges 'pink & green'.
Because I bought my first tag puncher, I'm having a lot of fun using it. The text on the tag says 'Best wishes, Mom!'
I also learned making the quilled roses (applause!) ;) I composed them with the material flowers.
Here I just teared one page from the dictionary (with the technique 'hit-or-miss' ) and I hit the 'hy-po-thet-ic-al-ly' word. Very inspiring :D
The picture is taken from the collection found on THIS site, which I recommend to every 'vintage-lover', there are lots of great pics!

Mother's Day

Hey hey hey, Mother's Day is just around the corner! In Poland we celebrate on 26th May, but the cards are becoming urgent.
I wanted to keep this card clean and simple. The flowers are from the 3D stamp set. I stamped the baking paper (and found out that not every ink is suitable for this purpose!). The background is stamped with another VIVA stamp set.
There is a surprise: a hidden tag! Ta-daaa!
Now we can see the whole background.
The tag says: "Mother's Day - 26th May".
I also wanted to give this card a little depth, so I used a 3D tape.

This card is for the following challenges (and Mother's Day of course!):

Name of the game? Football!

I was asked to make a card for a freind's friend B'day. There were some important information: it is a man interested in football, a fan of local football club, and he likes saying 'I'm divine!'.
I made the card according to the following sketch from Totally Gorjuss:
And here it is:
The free digi is from HERE - it is a volleyball player in fact, but I hope no-one knows ;)
The R letter is a symbol of our local football club. And the guy's thought is 'I'm divine' of course. The bottom text says 'Best wishes'.
I used the light blue ribbon, a shaggy twine and some buttons, too. I wanted it to be a male card as much as possible. Hope the dude will like the card.
The game takes place at:

Whiter shade of pale

May is a First Communion month in Poland, 'cos Polish people are mostly catholics. Except for its spiritual character, there are 'First Communion' things everywhere: books, sweets, necklaces, and of course cards.
So, there is no surprise, I was asked to make a first communion card. And here it is:
I wanted it to be both for a boy and a girl, so I used the Sliekje free digi (it's HERE)
This is also my first card with a tag, as I bought a tag puncher lately.
The text on the tag says "best wishes", and the other one 'In the day of 1st Communion', and there is also a chalice - a symbol of communion.

White is the symbol of innocence, that's why all the details are white, sometimes with gold.
The card is a little bit fancy folded, so it looks like this:
The after party takes place at:
