In bloom

As I mentioned before, I really like the vintage style. This card is for my colleague's granddaughter's 1st B'day:
The tag says 'Everything the best for you. Grow up healthy' (it really sounds better in Polish, believe me) ;)
And here's again my favourite recycled flower, which is very easy to make, and became my best embelishment lately.
There are lots of material flowers at this card, a hand made (by me) pin & some butterflies made with my new puncher.
The photo of a girl is taken from HERE - I really like this site for the vintage pics!
Inside this card I placed all the designer papers used outside... and one more butterfly.
If you would like to catch some more butterflies or pick some more flowers, visit here:

Sweet 18

In our country 18th B'day is one of the most important - this is the age you get your ID card and you're becoming an adult.
This card is for a girl, who's a student of an Art School (painting) and wears a kind of army boots very often (I don't know how this kind of shoes is called in English). The mix of being sensitive & tough at the same time.
And this is what the card is about.
Here are the army boots and the painting palette:
The flowers are made by me using some material left from the bouquet: I found it is very useful having a friend working at the florist's - she gives me all the leftovers, which should be normally placed in a trashcan. That's what I call: recycle!
The stamps have been embossed with a transparent powder and heated - hope you can see it.
I really adore the rubber stamp I bought lately at some Polish producer's (you can find it HERE) - they have wonderful and original rubber stamps!
The eyelets & star charm were supposed to give this card some more 'rock' style.
This card is for the following challenges:

TOP 3

I've been very busy this week, as the school year ends on 29th June, so all the teachers have a lot to do. I can't wait to have more time for crafting!
Anyway I just found out my card made TOP 3 at 'bright colour' challenge at the
clap smiley, animated smiley, animation smiley, clap smiley I will put the badge on my blog with pride! Hip hip, hurrah!

If I've got you, I don't need a parachute

Sometimes there is a situation, you have to keep somebody going, and tell him, you're there for him. That's why this card has been made.
Yes, the picture is right, it's not upside down - and that's why I love it! This cute little ladybug is adorable and it's looking at you like it really needed your help. You can find it HERE.
This card has been made according the sketch from 4 Crafty Chicks:

Instead of the buttons, I placed three safety pins, 'cos the buttons seemed too obvious:
As the ladybug has to hold up well, I placed a lot of things that keep things together: safety pins, staples, clothes-pin and eyelets:
The sentiment says: 'Hold up! We are with you!'
Inside of the card there are three spotted buttons:
It was hard to find a place without the sun yesterday!

Mr Policeman

As people getting know I like making cards, the 'orders' are becoming specific. This one was to make a card for policeman, who's name is Grzegorz. You can find it on the pennant stamped.
The Policeman is from MELONHEADZ (how surprising!) ;) And as usual I doodled the stamp around, it suits perfectly for me with those images.
The sentiment says "For your B'day - this is your day" (I already ordered other stamps for B'day, 'cos this is my only one for the moment).
Inside of the card there are the same ribbons, as outside, and a stamps "100 years" (for you)
The card is bright and optimistic:
Watch out for Mr Policeman while crossing the following streets:

A WINNER!!!

OMG, I just returned from a school trip with kids and what can I see?
Weeeeee! Ta da... tsssss!
It was the wedding / anniversary challenge & I entered with this card:
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!

Sweet laziness

Summer holiday is around the corner, and - as every teacher and every student - I'm exhausted. It's only three weeks to go! So in my mind, I'm already at my 'sweet laziness' mood, and I can't wait!
That's why the sentiment of the card is also a 'sweet laziness', dedicated to all the people of the work!
My inspiration was the challenges by four blogs this time: 2 Sisters, Come & Get It, Chocolate Coffee & Cards and Allsorts Challenge Blog:
I've changed the sketch a little, but I hope it still counts. And here's the card:
It was hard to take the photo, 'cos the colours are bright, but I hope you can see them. The idea was to use this drink-umbrella on the card. The digi is a freebie, you can find it HERE.
I wish I could lie like this eating chocolate... meh...

One little, two little, three little devils...

OK, only two little devils... That's enough :D
My colleague asked me to make a card for her grandsons's 2nd B'day. They are twins, their names are Dawid & Daniel, and, yes, they are lil devils:
I wanted this card to be joyfull and full of colours, just like a kid's room. It's MELONHEADZ draw again (I can't help it, they are so funny & cute), anyway there were 3 lil devils, but I needed 2 only. As my colleague said, boys love car toys, that's why each of them holds one car in his hand (in fact, the string of the car).
I also tried the Barb's advice of colouring, and I have to admit, it's much better. THANK YOU, BARB!!!
It's really moving, how all YOU, PEOPLE, are kind and helpful, and supporting! Thank you so much for all your comments & advices!
This is the first time I used the digital paper: the scratched and the stripped ones are from SHABBY PRINCESS, which I highly recommend!

Gone fishing

Somebody's watching this blog may think this is the male card blog only... Father's Day dominated my work lately... Here's another fishing card, with a little trick:
The trick is that I used the magazine ads to prepare this special 'square paper'. I remember this from my schoolyears, when we were making baskets like this.
Doesn't it look interesting? The sentiment says 'For my DAD!'
And this is my favourite digi artist: MELONHEADZ! I also added two charms: a fish and a marine knot.
You might be surprised where is this brown cardboard from?... drum roll... from HERE!!! This is my discovery of the month! I don't have to add, I like this cheese very much, so I'm not buying it only for the paper purpose :D
The material (another English word missed, in Polish it's 'flizelina') is also a part of the inside.
If you would like to buy some fresh fishes, please come here:

EURO 2012 starts today!

So I couldn't make any other card :D
In fact this is the card for one of my dancer's brother, who's keen on football and a big fan of our local football team (I think this "R" logo will appear from time to time as many of my citizens root for this team).
The card is being made according to the CardPatterns sketch no. 168:

I rotated the sketch but I hope it still counts:
I really love those Melonheadz freebies, they are so funny! I doodled the draw all around to give it more comic look. And there is only blue & white colour, as the team's colours are those two.
The tag says '100 years for you, Piotrek' (that's his name). This is our most popular B'day wish: '100 lat' means '100 years (of living)'. I don't know whether those wishes are so good, as people often live longer than 100 years :D
This was the first time I used the printable (free) paper - those blue stripes are from Free Vintage Digital Stamps.
The card is for the following challenges:

Something blue...

It's wedding time here! June starts the wedding season in Poland (as people believe your marriage will be successful when your wedding will take place on month that has the letter R in its name - I have no idea where this comes from! Anyway June in Polish is CzeRwiec).
So I have been asked to make a wedding card. I wanted it to be not in the common way (common cards are in shops!). And this is the photo from A Gem of a Challenge that inspired me:

Isn't it lovely? So here's my reply for that pic:
I used the VIVA wedding stamp set for the first time, so I wanted to try a few of the stams. The one with word 'Love' in different languages become the background stamp.
My friend also gave me the folded card template, so I wanted to try in right away!
Here's the other angle:
I really like this... oh well, I have no idea how this thing is called in English... In Polish it's 'chwost', some kind of a tassel / pom-pom? Geee...
And I think this butterfly charm is really... eee... charming? :D
And did you noticed that every single flower is different? I've taken out all my flower punches to make them. Flowers are definitely my favourite embelishments! There are also 2 twines, as one of the sentiments says: 'Bound together forever'. Sounds a little creepy, isn't it? ;) The Bride & Groom are embossed with a transparent powder.
If you're not afraid to be bound, too, please visit the couple here:
