How to: celebrate girl's B'day

Just look how this time flies! It's almost March!
Well, another Tuesday, another challenge at
Photobucket
This time the theme is
GIRL'S B'DAY
and there's a twist: YOU MUST USE PINK!
So go girly as much as you can!

My DT card is close to my heart, 'cos I made it for my niece Joanna (Asia) to celebrate her 1st B'day! Yay!
The digi is a freebie from Milk & Coffee Digi Stamps. It is painted with watercolors.
This little charm here says 'Made with love' and this is sooooo true. The butterfly is from a dismantled window decoration.
And there were no circle dies used here, 'cos I haven't got such LOL It's all hand cut with scissors!
Thank you for visiting my blog and please join our challenge.

How to: feel it in your fingers, feel it in your toes

This is gonna be something new for me, but there are lots of new things in this business for me, I'm afraid. This is the first ever 'white on white' card, and it is not even a card. It is a card-book (to be honest, I have no idea, how it's called LOL).
I was asked to make a wedding card for a girl working at my Mom's company for the whole nurse staff working there. So, here it is:
There are lots of die cuts used here, as well as a ribbon, lace, glitter ribbon, a feather and a button. Did I forgot something? Inside I decided to place a wedding dress using the fancy die cut from Whimsy Stamps.
There is also a border punch used and some lace, too. Here are the names of bride & groom, date of wedding and some wishes. I had to cover the company's logo.
The back side is simple, there is only my own stamp.
The whole thing seems very romatic, I guess. I hope LOL
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: devenir un mime dans un cirque

Mesdames et Messieurs!
Bienvenue au cirque!
Vous verrez des choses effrayant, drôle et totalement génial...

OK, I used to learn French in secondary school, but here I used a Google's translator... Why? Read the post and see the card and you'll know everything LOL

It is an honour for me to be invited as a GDT for
for making a TOP 5 at the previous challenge. It happened so fast this time!
So, here I am as a GDT for the new challenge which is
CIRCUS
for celebrating the National Circus Day!

I knew from the start what I am gonna do. I was making a little research for my previous card, which was a CAS card, and I have to admit I liked some of them. To keep practising (yeah, I'm THAT kind of person!) I decided to go CAS style again. I remembered I downloaded a funny freebie some time ago, which was my inspiration for the carnaval, too (we dress up during carnaval, not for Halloween).
The card is made according to Tuesday Morning Sketches sketch:

And here's the card:
The 3 Mimes are from Wonderstrange and you can find them HERE. They are so funny! I only colored their berets with promarkers. The sentiment says 'Happy B'day - this is your day', and it is a rubber stamp. I used a distress ink 'aged mahogany'. Red seemed too bold for me.
OK, I tried, but I'm not so cool as they are, but funny enough (I guess):
 Back to my card.
I also used an old page from a French book for kids here together with a twine.
I popped out the Mimes with a 3D tape, as well as the sentiment.
The las element was those stamps from Viva Decor set.
Thank you for visiting my blog and for giving me an opportunity to be a GDT again!

How to: wait for your love

Woooohooo, I am super-excited today! This is not only a new challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
but I am hosting this challenge for the very first time. Ever! How excited it is?
Anyway (calm down, Anna!) this time we are having a
TIC TAC TOE
for you. And you know how to play, don't you?
The sponsor for this challenge is

First I wasn't sure, what should I choose. I am not a big fan of the 'bingo' challenges (but, hey, shhhh, don't tell anyone!). But then I saw the digi stamps delivered by the sponsor and the sketch from Retro Sketches and I already knew. I have chosen 'buttons, paper piece, red', and here is the sketch & my card:

I'm not a big fan of CAS cards... I mean I like them, but I can't make them... I feel uncomfortable leaving so many empty spaces on a card LOL I am using the sponsor's image 'Fairy Lazy Day' which reminds me a summer holiday. The image is colored with promarkers and the mushroom's head is paper pieced.
The sentiment says 'Waiting for you'. I made some doodling around the card and placed one image onto the other, which is a little bit bigger. With the 3D tape it makes an interesting effect.
There are also 3 buttons from my stash. And 1 inside.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: prepare for celebrating

As you probably know from out blog hop
Photobucket
is 2 years old. To celebrate our B'day the next challenge is called
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
So any project celebrating any anniversary is allowed.
The sponsor for this month is

My DT card is very romantic this time. I used both a sketch from Friday Sketch Challenge and a photo inspiration from Sketchy Colors:

stock photo : fragrant lilac with green leaves isolated on white
And here's what came up combining those two:
This sweet little cutie comes from a Sherri Baldy Art blog and if you dig a little deeper, you'll find more freebies. The one that I am using is HERE. The girl is colored with promarkers.
The sentiment is a question this time: 'Are you ready to celebrate?'. And she definitely is! The sentiment is generated by me in MS Word.
The sketch suggested using scraps of paper, but I thought flowers would be more suitable for such occasion. Hope it still counts. I added a doily too to fill the space.
Here are some hand made pins I prepared for this card.
Soooo, are you ready to celebrate with us?
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: wear denim

The weather is still awful, so I went bold yellow this time. This is gonna be a male card and it's made according to the sketch from 4 Crafty Chicks:

So here's my card for a music lover:
The digi is from The Digi Garden, unfortunately I can't attach a link, 'cos the shop is closed at the moment. Anyway the digi is called 'Edward's Tunes' and it is colored with promarkers.
There are 3 denim elements and the whole card is a kind of 'recycling art' LOL Denim comes from an old kid's jeans bought at a second hand store for peanuts. I also embossed the background with an embossing folder.
The stars are also a 'recycled element', 'cos they have been cut from the cover of a painting pad. I used some dies from Nellie's Choice. The sentiment says 'All the best wishes'.
The card is modest, 'cos the colors are intense.
Thank you for visiting my blog!
This card is for the following challenges:
http://partytimetuesdays.blogspot.com/2013/02/ptt107-3-and-3.html three denim elements, three stars at the front, three colors (yellow, blue, brown)
