How to: celebrate a baby boy

Infact we are celebrating a long May weekend here in Poland - there are two holidays one close to the other: on 1st May we are having a Labor Day and on 3rd May it is the Constitution Day. Lots of schools, offices and shops are closed for the whole week. And so is mine, weeee!
Before I start to celebrate, we have a brand new challenge at
Photobucket
which is
YES! ANYTHING GOES!
I know you all like this one, so keep on entering!

My DT card celebrates a new baby boy. Didn't you notice that lots of babies are being born on April / May? Is it the 'summer holiday' effect? LOL
For making the main image I used the Viva Decor stamp set. I also added some scraps of paper and buttons that are with me since the very beginning.
This adorable little boy charm I bought at a jewellery crafting store - I couldn't resist to add it here.
The sentiment says of course 'Congratulations'. And this twine around is the same twine my Mum is using for knitting her New Born Baby sets. This could be nice to receive both clothes and a card with the same twine, I guess.
Thank you for visiting my blog and join our challenge - your favourite one!

How to: look good in pink

Wednesday sound more like 'weekend', don't you think? LOL
Wednesday means we are having a brand new challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
which is
PINK + ONE OTHER COLOR
Love it!
The sponsor for this challenge is
http://bunnyzoescrafts.com/includes/templates/orange/images/BZnewheader11.png

I decided to go pink + brown. The connection between those two colors (cold and warm) is so fantastic. Here's my DT card for this challenge
This card is made according to the sketch from Sketchy Colors (I've used it upside down). I also used some swirls instead of these three banners - hope it still counts.
The digi is my first digi won ever, but I've never used it before. The girl's name is Rosie and it is a digital stamp from Digital Paper Craft. Rosie is colored with promarkers.
For the card's background I used a scrapbook paper I bought last year, but still have a problem how to use it. But it is so beautiful! LOL These flowers are handmade.
The sentiment says 'Cool girl' and it's in our regional language.
Thank you for visiting my blog and join our challenge! Pink goes well with most of the colors!

How to: drive a fast car

Hope you all have had nice Monday and your Tuesday will be awesome, too.
Tuesday means there is another challenge at
Photobucket
and the theme this time is
CLEAN & SIMPLE
You can make any card, any theme but keep it simple.

My DT card is for a boy, a little fan of fast cars.
This card is made according to the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge

The digi is of course from Sliekje Digi Stamps and you can find it HERE. It is colored with promarkers.
I used some scraps left from other cards to make these arrows. I also used an embossing folder, my new border die cut and three little stars. The paper behind the image is inked with distressing ink.
The sentiment is a rubber stamp and it says 'Best wishes'.
Thank you for visiting my blog and join our challenge to win the monthly prize!

How to: become romantic

Well, I had to cancel my fitness class this evening because of the complete blackout around my place. Two hours of no light could be really annoying... Especially when you have a post to write as a host.
Fortunately my laptop was fully charged and the moblie internet was working... phew!
So, let's go to the next challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
which is
NO PATTERNED PAPER
Cool, huh? Me like it!

My DT card is a wedding card made for my friend.
I made it as an easel card and added a little mint color to this white. Here's the card closed.
Here are the bride & groom names and the date of marriage.
This beautiful rosette is hand sewed and I added an old fashioned button, which is really old.
There are lots of layers here, and I added the tulle, as well as some laces and pearls.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: have a tea party

Spring has sprung really dynamically, so the nature just explodes!
To calm down I suggest a cup of tea, which is a medicine for everything (yes, I am the tea-type of a person) LOL
Tea is also the new challenge at
Photobucket
and it's
TEA FOR TWO!
Nice and easy... and creative one.

My DT card is made according to the Crafty Catz sketch (hugs from here, Ladies!)

which I rotated and a color challenge from Cupcake Inspirations, which is my favourite color combo:

So, please, enjoy your tea:
This sweet image is from Beary Wishes - it's a freebie and you can grab it HERE. The image is colored with promarkers and this time I am very glad of the effect.
All those flowers are handmade - the blue roses are made from regular color paper and the brown rose is made from a coffee filter (sorry, no tea filter... LOL). The button inside is oh so old I can't even remember.
The sentiment is in our regional language and it says 'I am inviting you for a chit-chat... and a cup of tea'. It was supposed to remind the tea-bag labels.
I am also glad with this border die cut from Cottage Cutz - it suits here perfectly!
Thank you for visiting my blog!
This card is also for the following challenges:

How to: drive safely

Finally! The spring is here! Hip hip hurray!
My friend asked me to make a card for her friend's B'day - he is a driver and likes to tinker. I decided to use a sketch from Sketchy Colors:

and the color combo from Creatalicious Challenges:

and here's what came out:
I used an image from Bugaboo, which I won in one of the challenges. You can find it HERE. The image is colored with promarkers.
Here I used a shaded twine and some stars I bought recently. So this is a five-star B'day card LOL
The sentiment is written in our regional language (I wrote about that HERE). So the sentiment in the front says 'Go as fast as you can', and inside '...but pay attention!'. And below 'And here's a little gift from me' and names of the tools. I used a die cut from Die-namics.
So it makes sense when you see both outside and inside of the card. I also used kraft paper all over for the frames and tools.
Thank you for visiting my blog!
There's also a candy  here, all you have to do to win is to enter.
The card is for the following challenges:

How to: dress for spring

Today's rain washed away this awful snow, but the weather is still far from spring. I am afraid spring is having a party hard at the moment, so she can't find the way...
Today's challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
says
NO SQUARES!
Use your imagination and get out of the square frame!

My DT card is a shaped card preapred just for spring (when she finally comes)
All here is done manually, because the template is an image from childre's coloring book, scanned and enlarged. Then drawed on a paper and cut with scissors. Layer by layer. I couldn't resist to use this tiny yellow pompon again.
The designer paper is a little bit shiny, what gives a special effect to this dress.
This card was created for a little lady, who's turning 1. She would probably look fantastic in this dress.
