How to: fix it

Yestereday was my prize-crafty day, and here's the result. I was supposed to make some Father's Day cards, and here's the second one: for Mr Fix It.
This card is made according to a sketch from Friday Sketch Challenge
I used the Die-Namics dies Tool Charms. They are awesome. I also added some metal embellishments.
The sketch was perfect for using some scraps we all have in large quantities.
The sentiment says 'Best wishes' and it's a rubber stamp.

How to: choose a tie for a father

I have been a hard-working woman for last 2 weeks so I deserve a prize today: a crafty day! YAY!
Father's Day is just around the corner (23rd June in Poland), so I decided to make a male card.
I have been inspired with three CAS challenges:

The Play Date Cafe with their color challenge

The CASE Study challenge with their case it regular challenge

and an interesting challenge at The Fusion Card Challenge

Mixed all together and here's the result:
'How many ties could a man have?' is the same question as 'How many pairs of shoes is enough for a woman?' LOL To make these ties I used the scraps and cut them with scissors - easy-peasy.
I just popped them out with a 3D tape.
The sentiment says 'Best wishes' and this button is probably older than me - it's from my Mum's stash.
Elegant father deserves an elegant card, don't you think?

How to: make a wedding photo album

Hello,
Finally I've found a minute to organise these photos...
Last weekend I participated in a workshop during the Creativity Fair taking place in my town. We were making a wedding photo album.
The workshop was wonderful, I met many amazing people and learned something new. The company is a Polish company producing wonderful papers and you can find it HERE. I had to finish the album at home (4 hours were not enough), and here's the result:

How to: celebrate with sparkle

There are only 2 more hard weeks for me and I'm free!!!
Anyway I found a couple of minutes to prepare a DT card for the newest challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
which is
A SKETCH
this time.
The sketch has been prepared by Mary and it's a nice & easy one.
226 Sketch
Of course you can rotate it or add something more - it's up to you.
The sponsor for this challenge is
Clearly Besotted Stamps

My DT card is clean and simple and very accurate with the sketch this time LOL
The digi is from Stamp Fairy and you can find it HERE. I've had this stamp colored for a couple of weeks, when my first pack of promarkers arrived, but never used it for a card. Till today.
I've noticed that there are single sequins being used on many cards, so I needed to try that, too. So I've made a B'day confetti.
The sentiment says 'Best wishes' and the embossing & sentiment is on a kraft paper recycled from a bottom page of drawing pad.
Thank you for visiting my blog and join our challenge with this cool sketch!

How to: make a girly first communion card

What a week! I didn't even touch my crafty tools! Fortunetely I made some cards for first communion, so I have a little stash of unpublished cards LOL.

But first of all, there are some great challenges taking place this week.
Photobucket
has a challenge "Fluttering by" and you have to use a butterfly! How easy!

craftycreationschallenges
has a challenge with a theme, which was my idea, and I really regret I couldn't make a card for that!
"Super Heroes" for a person who's a super hero for you. How cool is that?

And finally
Crafty Catz Challenge Blog Bagde
has a 'Fancy folds' challenge this week! Use your creativity!

Join us, the prizes are really cool!

Back to my card.
I wanted this card to be liked by the girl, who receive it. The 'normal' first communion cards are in every store, I wanted to make something unusual. And I believe every girl age 8 would love this PINK card! The girl's name is Alice and it's on the tag.
The digi is a freebie from The Stamping Chef and you can find it HERE. It's colored with promarkers.
These tiny ribbon flowers are really adorable, I bought them at haberdashery store. I also added some lace, ribbon, and leaves from a Joy Crafts die.
Inside the card there is a pocket, where you can put the gift (which is usually an envelope with money or with a holy medal).
