How to: enjoy you summer days with music

Hello everyone, can someone please send some ice here? To cool a little, I've made a summer B'day card with my favourite color combo: blue, white and brown.
I am using the Paper Shelter's digi 'Rhythm everywhere' - it's colored with Promarkers and distressed with a distress ink. I've placed the image on a 3D foam.
The flowers are handmade by me, and I also added some lace, ribbon, pearls, washi tape and a FIMO frame. Papers are digital.
The sentiment says 'Best wishes' and it's a rubber stamp.

How to: enjoy little things

Are you melting? I am. The weather is awesome, but could be even more awesome at the seaside rather than in an idustrial town. Fortunately the nights are much colder than days.
Well, today's challenge at
is about
SUMMERTIME
Yep, that's the theme. Take out all your summer stash and create a hot project.
Our sponsor for this challenge is
who's offerring 3 digital products of the winner's choice.

I created a card using the sponsor's funny image.
When I saw this 'Garden Hose Ants' stamp I knew this is the one perfect for my card. They are hilarious! The stamp is colored with Promarkers and distressed with two distress inks.
I used the My Mind's Eye 'Remarkable' collection, it's so colorful! All the paper edges are distressed with a distress ink. And the sentiment under the stamp says 'Enjoy little things'.
Now the 'Aquapark RODOS' sign need some explanation. As you probably all know, Rodos is a beautiful Greek island.
I live in Poland in an industrial area, where people live mostly in such blocks of flats (and so I do). This is not my block, but it looks like this.
So, there's no garden, no place to sit and enjoy you coffee or tea outside. That's why you can buy something called 'Family Garden', placed in the suburbs of the city. It looks like this - a row of such small gardens.
So, the 'RODOS' could be an abbreviation in Polish for 'Family Gardens Surrounded by Mesh', which is an answer when someone asks you 'Where are you going to spend your holidays?', you can say 'At Rodos'. Especially when you are not going anywhere, 'cause you can't afford it, or you just like it that way.
And that's why I placed the 'Aquapark RODOS' sign on the card, and the explication you can find inside the card. Phew, that's a long story! LOL
Thank you for visiting my blog and your patience!

How to: surf and look beautiful

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing fine and looking forward to your vacation. Today I am the host of the new challenge at
and my choice is
HOT SUMMER AND / OR HOT COLORS
The weathers is so hot here I couldn't make it any other way LOL
Our sponsor for this challenge is
so wipe the sweat from your foreheads and join us.

My DT card is about hot summer and surfing.
This is a 'thank you' card I made for my ZUMBA instructor to thank her for her amazing job through the whole year. And she looks exacly like this 'chica' on the stamp. I am using a Saturated Canary's 'Toes in the sand' stamp - it's colored with Promarkers and distressed with distress ink.
For this card I am using the Kaiserkraft paper pad 'Paradiso'. These patterns remind Caribbean summer (or I believe they do, I've never been there). I also added a twine and some gems.
The sentiment says 'Thank you' and I made it by myself. The flowers are from my stash.

How to: document your travel

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying your summer holidays or you will be enjoying them soon. I am still before the vacation. Today I would like to share a holiday-related card, I mean how you should document what you see. Taking photos! Can you even imagine holidays without photos?
My hands were itching to use this freshly bought silicone stamp from ScrapBerry's 'Enjoy your trip'. It's colored with Promarkers (plus some paper piecing) and I cut it a little 'square' this time. It's placed on a 3D foam.
Isn't she a cutie? I used the digital papers again - it's 'Express yourself' from Shabby Princess. It's free, you can download it, there are many beautiful papers there.
I went a little 'stamp-crazy' here using the post stamps, but I just LOVE them. The sentiment says 'Best B'day wishes' and it's a freebie from HERE.

How to: bring the cake on time

Today I would like to share a B'day card for those who always forget about someone's B'day - read: me. All the cards I am sending, should have a sentiment 'I am sorry, I am late'...
That's why I decided to use this Paper Shelter's stamp 'Pattissier in distress'. It is colored with Promarkers and I added some pearls and liquid pearls for the cake's icing.
These flowers are handmade by me, one day was a 'flower making day', so I made lots of them, they are quite easy and very pretty.
The whole card has been made according to the sketch from Hanna and Friends challenge blog.
The sentiment says 'The most beautiful wishes for your B'day' and it's a freebie from HERE.

How to: sing along for X-mas

It's high time to motivate myself for making these X-mas cards - I've placed a countdown widget on the right to tell me how much I need to speed up! Today I would like to share this freshly made X-mas card. Number two this year.
I am using this adorable stamp from Whimsy Stamps - Christmas Choir Boy. It's adorable and funny at the same time, just look at these singers! The stamp is colored with Promarkers and distressed with a distress ink.
I've been playing with digital papers again and for this I have chosen the collection from Megan Turnidge 'Cozy Christmas'. It was a real fun using them!
The sentiment is a freebie from HERE and it says 'Have a snowy, nice, merry, calm and family Christmas'.
