How to: thank a fitness lady

Woo hoo! Friday again! Can you imagine it's almost November? Where did the whole October gone? The weather changed A LITTLE and it's awful, that's the right word.
But Friday always starts well, because it's a brand new challenge at
today hosted by our talented... wait... hosted by ME! OMG!
I think it's always nice to have some 'thank you' cards, that's why the theme is

My DT card for this challenge is one of these I prepared for my fitness team. This one is for a girl who teaches Pilates at my Dance and Fitness Studio. She also deals with bodybuilding and looks like from a fitness magazine.
She looks exactly like in the picture, the only difference is in her arms, she has more muscles there than an average man LOL I am using a Saturated Canary's stamp 'Jamie workout'. It's colored with Promarkers and distressed with two distress inks.
For this card I have chosen one of my favourites combos: blue and brown. I added a ready-to-use bow, some washi tapes and gems.
The sentiment says just 'Thank you' and I started to write this card inside before I realised I didn't take the pictures!
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: be a big-little football fan

This is the second post for today, I told you today is a big day! Let me tell you about the brand new challenge at
Today's hostess is our talented Aunty Sue and she has chosen the theme of
Sue says skin, hair and white doesn't count as a color, so you have plenty possibilities to create a fancy project.

My project is for a little boy, who loves Polish football very much (like there was something to love, pfffff...). Anyway, here's my DT card.
For this card I used the Melonheadz's freebie 'Volleyball Boy', but I colored this ball more like a football one. The image is colored with Promarkers and I added a Polish heraldic to his shirt.
The name of the boy is Karol and he's turning 8. I collected all the red and white papers I had and have chosen these from separate paper pads.
The sentiment is a freebie from HERE and it says 'Lots of best wishes for your 8th B'day'.

How to: become a zombie-girl

OMG, I am so excited!!! As you probably know, I become a DT member for the

and I am happy and extremaly stressed at the moment. This is my first card made for this company and I don't want to disappoint anyone [deep breath]. Anyway...
Today we are having a brand new release called

Just look at these cuties

The senior and new DT Ladies prepared a bunch of wonderful cards, so you better check the Sami Stamps Blog for details. Every card is different and they are all soooooo cool!
My choice of this one stamp I would like to work with wasn't easy at all, but I finally decided to use the 'Zombie Girl' for my card. Check out the 'freebie and deals' page to get this stamp for only $2.00! The time is limited!
 Here it is.
I had all of these zombie movies in my mind, that's why I created a scene. It's dirty, it's sloppy, it's spooky. Perfect for Halloween!
The Zombie Girl is colored with Promarkers and inked with distress ink. The edges are torn and distresssed, too. I've also taken out these forgotten dies and punches and created the background using the black cardstock. The gems were supposed to look like stars. Scary stars.
The sentiment is made by me, because I think this Zombie Girl is too cute to spook.
Check out the Sami Stamps Shop to see all the new releases.

Don't forget that there's still time to enter the Sami Stamps challenge USE ORANGE. The rules are simple:

How to: think about you

This is gonna be an interesting week, but I won't tell anything now, let's keep it in secret.
Today a brand new challenge starts at
Blog Badge
and the theme is nice and simple
It's always nice to make a card just like that, to let somebody know he's in our thoughts.
The sponsor for this challenge is
San's Design
with their really cool digis.

I really enjoyed preparing this DT card and I knew that it HAS TO BE green. Like this.
I fell in love with this sponsor's stamp, she's such a beauty! The name of this digi is 'Thoughtful' and it's colored with Promarkers and distressed with distress ink.
First I wanted to use some eyelets here, but I realized it's almost midnight, and I didn't want to make any noise. That's why I grabbed a needle and made these stitches with twine.
The sentiment says - how surprizing - 'Thinking of you'.

How to: be a cool buddy

Still warm and sunny and more colorful day after day, I am enjoying this year's autumn so much! I hope you do, too.
Today a new challenge starts at
and the theme for this week is
You can use lots of them, there's no limit, just make sure, there are 2 or more dies on your card.
Our sponsor for this challenge is
with their rich offer of digis, so make sure you join us!

As I said before, there are no 'too many male cards' situations, so I made a card for two cool buddies.
For this card I have chosen the sponsor's digi 'Cool Buddy's'. It's colored with Promarkers and distressed with distress ink. I also added some glossy accents to their glasses. Just to be even more cool LOL
I bought a perfect paper for this card just a few weeks ago: Bo Bunny's 'Happy tails' paper pad. And I used exactly two dies: THIS and THIS one. There is also some burlap, ribbon, metal and acrylic drops and two dog-related buttons.
The sentiment says 'Best wishes' and it's a rubber stamp. The whole card is made according to the sketch from Creative Inspirations.

Thank you for visiting my blog!
Here are the challenges I am entering with this card:
Creative Inspirations - sketch

How to: enjoy autumn

I hope you are having such a nice and warm autumn as I have. Still wearing short sleeves and sunglasses I enjoy the beautiful and colorful trees. This time of the year is called 'Polish Golden Autumn' in my country. It reminds me this picture of me and my Mum when I was about 2.
But as Hercules Poirot sais 'revenons à nos moutons'...
Today a new challenge starts at
and our lovely Janette, who's hosting this one has chosen
to be the theme of the challenge.
We have two sponsors for this week
How cool is that?

Being inspired by this old pic I created this card.
I am using the sponsors pre-colored digi 'Fallen Maple Leaf' and I have used it as a background for this Inky Impressions digi 'Umbrella Lili'. It's colored with Promarkers and placed on a 3D foam.
For this card I used the freshly bought Kaisercraft's paper pack 'Twig and Berry'. It's an X-mas pack infact, but the colors are definitely autumnal.
The sentiment is a part of the Polish poem written by one of the greatest Polish poets Julian Tuwim. This one is named 'Late summer verses' and it says something like (translation of mine, very lame I'm afraid...)
'See, there's so much of fall!
Full like in the barell of wine,
And it's only a beginning,
it's only starting now!'
The rest of the poem says how beautiful the autumn is.
