Hello everyone, it seems like we have come from tropical heat straight into the rainy season... really? Nothing in between? Meh...
Today I would like to share a card I made to participate at the 'sport' challenge at Kenny K's challenge blog.
How about some boxing? This girl reminds me of myself taking some 'tae bo' lessons in the past. I loved it! I am using the Kenny K's digi stamp 'Breast cancer fight' - it's colored with Promarkers and distressed with distress ink.
The papers are digital again from HERE. And yes, this is me again destroying a linen shirt to make this 'ribbon' LOL I also added a washi tape and some gems.
The sentiment says 'For you' and it's a freebie from HERE.
Hello Crafty Blogland, still hot in here, anyone for a trip to Antarctic? No? OK, let's move then onto the newst challenge at
and this time we would like you to make some projects
JUST FOR FUN
Card that make you smile, that is!
Our sponsor for this challenge is our lovely DT Lady Mary, who will surely prepare some crafty goodies for you!
A few weeks ago a freind of mine asked me to make a B'day card for her friend, who LOVES sales and shopping at Lidl. I was playing with my freshly bought rubber stamps, so I finished with this card.
I am using the Kenny K's rubber stamp 'OMG' - it's hilarious and I think I am going to use it very often. Just look at this face expression, I cannot stop smiling! The stamp is colored with Promarkers and placed on a 3D foam.
I dived into my stash and found these two dress dies, they were perfect for this card. The rest of the printables are from the Lidl's site and I hope no-one's gonna sue me for that LOL.
The sentiment says 'For your B'day' and it's a rubber stamp.
Are you melting? I am. The weather is awesome, but could be even more awesome at the seaside rather than in an idustrial town. Fortunately the nights are much colder than days.
Well, today's challenge at
Yep, that's the theme. Take out all your summer stash and create a hot project.
Our sponsor for this challenge is
who's offerring 3 digital products of the winner's choice.
I created a card using the sponsor's funny image.
When I saw this 'Garden Hose Ants' stamp I knew this is the one perfect for my card. They are hilarious! The stamp is colored with Promarkers and distressed with two distress inks.
I used the My Mind's Eye 'Remarkable' collection, it's so colorful! All the paper edges are distressed with a distress ink. And the sentiment under the stamp says 'Enjoy little things'.
Now the 'Aquapark RODOS' sign need some explanation. As you probably all know, Rodos is a beautiful Greek island.
I live in Poland in an industrial area, where people live mostly in such blocks of flats (and so I do). This is not my block, but it looks like this.
So, there's no garden, no place to sit and enjoy you coffee or tea outside. That's why you can buy something called 'Family Garden', placed in the suburbs of the city. It looks like this - a row of such small gardens.
So, the 'RODOS' could be an abbreviation in Polish for 'Family Gardens Surrounded by Mesh', which is an answer when someone asks you 'Where are you going to spend your holidays?', you can say 'At Rodos'. Especially when you are not going anywhere, 'cause you can't afford it, or you just like it that way.
And that's why I placed the 'Aquapark RODOS' sign on the card, and the explication you can find inside the card. Phew, that's a long story! LOL
Thank you for visiting my blog and your patience!
