My freind asked me to make a card for her brother with a choo choo train. I had no idea where to start until I've found the spotlight technique challenge at Moving Along With The Times and this sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches:
Here's my card:
I used a free digi of a choo choo train from HERE. It was exactly what I needed. The color 'spot' is being colored with colored pencils and the technique is FUNtastic, I need to try it again!
The background is embossed with my Sizzix Big Shot Best Friend and inked with distressing ink. The charm emphasises that this is a boy / male card.
Here I used some paper scraps - probably we all have a huge collection of them. And the button is the first button bought ever for my cardmaking! Still have some of them.
I was also wondering how should I make the sentiment here. I've chosen an old-fashioned crime stories style - just cut the letters from a magazine. LOL The sentiment says '100 years' (for you).
