My today's card is a little bit against the weather, which I call 'grey, dun & gloomily'. This is the time when winter ends, but there's no spring yet. If I wrote the song 'Wake me up when September ends', I would probably write 'Wake me up when February ends' LOL
So, my card is bright, joyful, with bold colors.
The card is made according to the Sketchy Colors sketch:
The digi is from Digi Garden, and yes, I am pretty shocked about the news. The image is a freebie, and you can still find it on their Facebook fan page. The girl is colored with Promarkers - I still haven't got enough markers to blend, but I am trying to manage my way LOL
The card was supposed to be girly, so even if it's not pink, there are some elements here, that are girly enough. The frilies are made by me from a piece of chiffon, which is recycled from a flower bouquet. The sequins are my Mom's sewing leftovers, as well as the lace. There is also a border punch used, hope you can see it.
The sentiment says 'Best wishes', as it could be a card for B'day.
The papers are from my stash, I have no idea from where, I believe I bought some of them at Lidl store, but I'm not sure. It was a long time ago.
