How to: make a colored vintage photo

Yeah, going back to work after 2 weeks of winter break will be hard...

I decided to upcycle a ribbon for this vintage card.

But I have to start from this photo. My printer have only black ink installed at the moment, so I was wondering if Promarkers can do that and color a photo. They can! So, here's a hand-colored vintage picture with Promarkers.

I wanted to do some heat shabby embossing, too, but I haven't got 2 things: heating device and shabby embossing powder. So, I heated the elements over the candle and put the copper powder first and then white. Voila!

The ribbon is upcycled from a gift we received for X-mas (wine glasses). I love it's deep brown color. The sentiment says 'Most beautiful wishes'. For the papers, which were very delicate, I used THIS hand-writting stamp.

And here's my 'making of' photo - do you make a mess like this, too? LOL

There's only one big table at my small apartament, so when I craft, you have to eat having the plate on your knees. Not very comfortable...
