How to: celebrate the first communion

While you are reading this, I am celebrating the new year shopping in Berlin! Yay! Sales! Of course this is not the only one thing I am doing here, but today my fiance gave me 'happy hours' shopping instead of visiting museums. I have to say all of these museums are really impressing and interesting and I strongly recommend the Deutsches Historisches Museum, so many fascinating things to see!

Anyway...

I think that - after all of these X-mas crazyness - it's a good time to make some cards for the upcoming First Communions and weddings and 'new babies'. I'm late with these every time. So, here's my DT card for the first communion.

I am using the sponsor's digi 'Kitten Queen 4' - it's colored with Promarkers and distressed with distress ink.

There's a 'new' embellishment here - beautiful flowers I received for X-mas. The rest of the goodies are from my stash.

The sentiment says 'Souvenir of the First Communion' and it's a freebie from HERE.

How to: step into the fantasy world

Friday morning is really busy for me, but I love that kind of being busy.

The second card I would like to share has been prepared for the newest challenge at

I was really confused, as fantasy is not my cup of tea (except 'Game of Thrones' LOL), but I've finally ended with such card.

Coloring of this stamp took me about 2 hours, even my fiance came to see what's going on, that I disappeared for such a long time LOL

I am using the sponsor's digi FAE 6, it's colored with Promarkers, distressed and I added some washi tape.

There are lots of embellishment here and there are lots of freshly bought embellishments: white FIMO parts from the new steampunk moulds and the ribbon + twine + wooden snowflake + pearls put together into one bought at Lidl. The rest is from my stash.

There is no sentiment this time, as it could be a card for many occassions.

In fact I find it very difficult to make a good CAS card. I cannot fight that impression that I should add something more... and more... and here. But this time I've concentrated on coloring.

I am not the Master of Promarkers, but it was a pleasure to color this sponosor's stamp. I am using 'Fae 28' - adorable fairy with flowers in her hair.

There's not much added beside that, I only used some washi tape and made an ink distressing. There is no sentiment, so it can be a card for many occassions.

How to: make a winter magic

Definitely TGIF! It was a very hard week at work, as we are having a winter break at school now, so all should be done by today... phew!

WINTER FANTASY - USE A FAIRY

I just want you to use a fairy stamp. That's all.

I made a card with one of these cold pink fairies.

I am using the sponsor's image Fae28 - it's colored with promarkers and glitter pens. I wanted her eyes to be a little mysterious, but I guess they look more creepy LOL

The papers are from Polish company Piątek Trzynastego (Friday 13th) and this collection is called 'Ladies' Night'.

The sentiment is a freebie from HERE and it says 'Warm Birthday Wishes'.
