How to: make a patriotic card

Hello! Today a new challenge starts at

and this time we would like to see
YOUR NATION'S FLAG COLORS
Of course you can use other colors, too, but please focus on your flag.
Our sponsor for this challenge is

Just for a reminder, here's my national flag (Poland).
So simple, just red and white. And here's my card.
Our sponsor let us choose the digi for this challenge, yay! I have chosen 'Jenna'. This stamp is so adorable! I have colored it with Promarkers and distressed with distress ink.
Fortunately I bought some red flowers lately, so I was able to compose this flowery corner.
There's no sentiment this time, so it could be a card for many occassions.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: be a Super-Mum

As you probably don't know, we celebrate Mother's Day on 26th May here in Poland. So this is one of the cards I made for a Super-Mum.
I am using the Kenny K's digi 'Super Mom' - it's colored with Promarkers and placed on a 3D foam. I also added some washi tape and metal stars.
The papers are from Bo Bunny and here's my brand new flower die from Magnolia. I am so happy I bought it!
The sentiment says 'Best wishes' and it's a rubber stamp.

How to: celebrate Mother's Day with sewing

What a weekend! It's been 100% crafty, lots of requests lately: Mother's Day, Easter, First Communions, Weddings... It's all coming! Here is a card I made for my friend's Mum, who likes to sew.
I totally forgot I own this die from Whimsy Stamps, it is one of the first I've ever bought! I made a dress using some tulle and a ribbon flower.
For the background I used Viva Decor sillicone stamps. I also printed some vintage downloads to make this buttons and thread labels. The button are faux, made with a punch.
The sentiment says 'Best wishes' and it's a rubber stamp.

How to: read a book with your Mum

Hello Crafty Blogland, hope you're all having a nice Sunday! Today a new challenge starts at
and the theme is
WOOD
All you have to do is to use some wooden elements or use a paper or stamp that pretends wood. Or just use a wooden theme.
We have a cool sponsor for this challenge
with their super-cute stamps.

I decided to go monochrome this time.
The card has been made according to the sketch from Creative Inspirations:
This adorable image is a sponsor's stamp of course and it's called 'Book Time'. It's colored with Promarkers and distressed with two inks.
I am using this wonderful set of 7 Dots Studio papers 'Messy Head'. I upcycled the brown ribbon from a X-mas gift and have chosen the paper set's sentiment 'You are my whole world'.
The wooden elements are from Freckled Fawn and the corner one comes from a Polish company Magiczna Kartka.
Thank you for visiting my blog and join our 'wooden' challenge!

How to: read a story for goodnight

The school year definitely started: it was Saturday yesterday, and today it's Wednesday... LOL What happened?
Wednesday means it's a brand new challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
which is
LET'S GET KRAFTY!
All you need to do is incorporating some kraft paper or kraft color into your creation.
Our sponsor this time is
Bunny Zoe's Crafts

I missed the vintage style, so my today's card is a little old-fashioned.
My friend asked me to make a card for her Mom's B'day, and she wanted it to be a vintage style. I found a proper pic at my stash and she liked it. For the butterflies I used an embossing folder and then cut them with scissors. They look cool!
I also used a newspaper's page for one of the elements. The kraft paper is under the pic, on the tag, and some flower's elements are also made of kraft paper.
The sentiment on a tag says 'Best wishes, Mom'.
Thank you for visiting my blog! Take out your kraft paper and get krafty!

How to: celebrate Mother's Day in purple

Oh well, another week gone by and I am still trying to sort things out. And it's not easy, believe me...
To relax, I've made a card for Mother's Day, which is celebrated in Poland on 26th May. This time I went shabby chic.
What do we have here? The color inspiration for this card was this color challenge from Moving Along with the Times

I used an image from a scrapbook set my friend gave me. Everywhere I added some distressing to make it more vintage.
This fabric here comes from a top I bought at second hand store at a sale. The pink pearls are from the X-mas decoration, and this lace is from my Mom's stash.
I also added some distressing inside. The sentiment says: 'To my beloved Mum'.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: celebrate Mother's Day with a sentiment

May this May be OK for you! Yay!
No, I'm not drunk, I'm just in a good mood... just for no reason. Infact I should be worry, 'cos I have got a hell-lot stuff to do, but...
... but today is Tuesday, so it's time for a brand new challenge at
Photobucket
which is
MOTHER'S DAY!
We do celebrate this occasion on 26th May here in Poland, but I can feel the Mother's Day heat now.
So grab your crafting tools and honor all Mums in the world... or just one.

My DT card is a sentiment-only card this time.
The sentiment says 'Mother's love is the bridge to all that is good now and in eternity'. How true! The sentiment is made by me in MS Word, so it's not too fancy. LOL
The background paper is one of these vintage flower papers that you keep for special occasions. Mine has been bought almost a year ago, but I still have it.
All the details are upcycled here: the rose is handmade from a coffee filter, the red ribbon, the red mesh and the brown material are from a bouquet and the kraft paper is the back side of a drawing pad.
And now for something completely different:
I was taking my pictures of this card in a bedroom and when I came back I was shocked with the mess I made, so I had to take one more pic. My apartament isn't too big and I have no special place to craft, so I annex the biggest table in the biggest room. If you wanna eat a meal, you have to do it on the couch, with the plate on your knees LOL Fortunately my fiance is very tolerant.
This is not all, my Big Shot and all the ribbon and textile mess is in another corner, but I will have a mercy on you LOL
Thank you for visiting my blog!
