How to: become a floral bride

What a week! My spine went really really bad, taking medicines and injections, and it's still hard to move. I've spent this week mostly lying and groaning, not mentioning all my dance and fitness classes needed to be cancelled. The good side was I did read all of these books I wanted to read.
Anyway
Today is a new release day at
Sami Stamps
and it's really a beautiful one

Just take a look

Which of these beauties do you like most? I love all of them!

For my DT card I have chosen the Single Rose Bride. When I saw that stamp, I thought about a young woman waiting for her boyfriend, missing him and writing letters. And it goes like this.
I also knew from the start that her dress should be paper pieced and the card should be vintage style. The bride's hair and skin is colored with Promarkers. I stamped the background using masking technique with THIS stamp from Joy Crafts. The edges are distressed with distress ink.
All of the embellishments are from my stash, including these beautiful calla lilies.
There is no sentiment this time, so it can be a card for many occassions.
There is still time to enter the Sami Stamps challenge with these simple rules
Thank you for visiting my blog!
