How to: thank your teacher

Hello everyone! Today we have got a very special day in my country, because it's an Independence Day! And it suits perfectly with the newest challenge at
Blog Badge
as our theme this fortnight is
GIVE THANKS
So many things to be grateful for!
Our sponsor for this challenge is

I made a card for the request - a 'thank you' card for a teacher.
I have chosen this Melonheadz digi, which is colored with Promarkers and placed on 3D foam.
The letters are leftovers from other projects.
The sentiment says 'Thank you for everything'.
And thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: celebrate first communion

Hello there! This is a beginning of a brand new challenge at
Crafty Catz Challenge Blog Bagde
and this week our lovely Cindy wants you to use
EMBOSSING
Heat or dry, doesn't matter  Or both.
Our sponsor for this challenge is
Yay! Love their stamps!

Anyway I wasn't able to use any of their stamps this time due to unforseen circumstances. Such a pity! I made a First Communion card for a boy.
I've had this Melonheadz 'Joseph Smith' image already printed, and I thought it suits perfectly. It's colored with Promarkers and placed on a 3D foam.
This is an easel card infact.
I added some golden stickers, and so the sentiment is a sticker, too. It says 'A souvenir of the First Communion'.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: thank a parish priest

To keep some balance in my latest cards, today I would like to share a DT card made for the new challenge at
Blog Badge
No monsters, witches, scary demons, but... a parish priest!
Our theme this fortnight is
BRADS, BUTTONS OR BOWS
You can use all of them. Or just one. It's up to you.
Our sponsor for this challenge is

So, I have been requested to prepare a thank you card for a parish priest, who's leaving the town and his parish. I prepared an easel card using only black and white colors.
It was not so easy to find a proper digi, fortunately you can always count on Melonheadz. This digi is a freebie and you can grab it HERE. The image is colored with Promarkers and I had to add glasses, as the priest wears glasses.
We live in an industrial town, where there are lots of coal mines, so I made an industrial background. The papers are from a Polish company Magiczna Kartka. Flowers are handmade. Ribbon and button are from my stash.
The sentiment says 'Thank you Parish Priest Edward'. There's also the name of the town and the date of parish.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: be a big-little football fan

This is the second post for today, I told you today is a big day! Let me tell you about the brand new challenge at
Today's hostess is our talented Aunty Sue and she has chosen the theme of
BLACK + ONE OTHER COLOR
Sue says skin, hair and white doesn't count as a color, so you have plenty possibilities to create a fancy project.

My project is for a little boy, who loves Polish football very much (like there was something to love, pfffff...). Anyway, here's my DT card.
For this card I used the Melonheadz's freebie 'Volleyball Boy', but I colored this ball more like a football one. The image is colored with Promarkers and I added a Polish heraldic to his shirt.
The name of the boy is Karol and he's turning 8. I collected all the red and white papers I had and have chosen these from separate paper pads.
The sentiment is a freebie from HERE and it says 'Lots of best wishes for your 8th B'day'.
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: do the robot dance

Hello everyone, I hope you're enjoying your Sunday, doing sweet nothing... or crafting... which is almost the same LOL
Today a new challenge starts at
and the theme is
SHINY
Make it shine like crazy... or just a little bit.
Our sponsor for this challenge is
with their metal sheets, perfect for some shiny projects.

In fact, this is not 'my' week at Pile It On, but I missed the opportunity to use the sponsor's crafting goodies last time, so my wonderful Team Mate arranged a new delivery for me. Thank you, CG!!! So, here's my DT card using some shiny sheets.
I decided to make a boy card using this sweet and funny robot from Melonheadz. You can grab it HERE, because it's a freebie. It's colored with Promarkers and distressed with black distress ink.
For this card I used the Black Diamond metal sheet and Perfect Peacock metal sheet. They are great for embossing and this is exactly what I've done using THIS set of embossing folders from Sizzix.
Using the sippers wasn't my idea, I have been inspired by THIS card, it's so creative! This is why I do love visiting crafting blogs so much!
The sentiment is a freebie from HERE and it says 'Best B'day wishes - may all your dreams come true'.
Thank you for visiting my blog!
Here are the challenges I enter with this card:
Aud Sentiments - for the men in our life
Crafting By Designs - childhood memories

How to: study mechanics

Hello everyone, welcome to the brand new challenge at
Blog Badge
hosted by me this time and I am so excited! This time you have a choice, because we are playing
TIC TAC TOE
Just choose three squares in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally) from the chart below
Our sponsor for this one is

We have also got a new Lady in our Team! Please visit Hazel and show her some love.

For my DT card I have chosen the last line: circles, masculine and digital image. It is a B'day card for a young man, who became a student of mechanics and is moving from his hometown to Wrocław, one of the biggest cities in the Western Poland.
I am using a Melonheadz freebie 'I remember'. The boy was originally holding a flower, but I gave him a road sign instead. The image is colored with Promarkers and placed on a 3D foam.
The dies I used refer to the studies of the boy: mechanics. I used some silver cardstock to make the card more appropriate.
The sentiment says 'Best wishes' and it's a rubber stamp.
Thank you for visiting my blog!
