Happy Sunday! Today I would like to share my DT card for the newest challenge at

OK, I have to admit, it was a challenge for me, too. I usually make square cards, so it was a little bit difficult for me. So I ended up with this.

And I have to say: lookin' good! I have chosen the sponsor's digi 'Lucy Loo - Bookaholic', and I probably lost my mind picking a digi consisting mostly of hair! Don't even ask how long I have been coloring this one. Anyway the stamp is colored with Promarkers and distressed with distress ink.

At the background I attached a real vintage library card from my school library.

There is no sentiment on this card, so it's suitable for many occassions.

How to: know what matters

Happy Sunday everyone! Today we celebrate our Constitution Day, so it should be a day off, but it's Sunday, so it's a day off anyway. What a waste! LOL
Being already packed for my 'green school' (leaving tomorrow morning for 2 weeks to the seaside with my class), I would like to present the new challenge at

which is
MOTHER'S DAY / FOR A WOMAN
We celebrate a Mother's Day on 26th May, so close enough to make a proper card.

I have chosen the second theme - for a woman - and made a 'thank you' card for my pilates instructor, who's leaving in July. Such a pity, she's a really good instructor, I will miss her.

I am using the sponsor's digi 'What matters', I fell in love with this stamp at the first sight. And wanted to use unusual colors, suitable for relaxing and meditation. The digi is colored with Promarkers and distressed with distress ink.

I have taken out my good old border punches here. The new things are the Scrapberry's brads, really love this color palette, which inspired me for this card. The rest of the embellishments are from my stash.

There's a simple sentiment here saying just 'thank you'.
