This card is dedicated to my fiance, who is the main coordinator of something called 'Industrial Monuments Route' in our region. Yesterday we were celebrating the Route's Day - INDUSTRIADA. This is one day a year that you can visit all the monuments for free and there are lots of events at the monument's place. This year there were around 60 thousand people participating in INDUSTRIADA (could be more, they are still counting!).
And this is the card to celebrate this Day:
The inspiration for this card was INDUSTRIADA's logo - a heart made of metal pieces and some home made robots. I also added an embossed stamp of an old school clock to show the antique character of the monuments.
The robot is holding a signboard with the name od INDUSTRIADA - I couldn't use the original one according to the copyright law, so I've made it from several different fonts.
And here's the home made robot: I've made him using an old ball pen's parts, kitchen aluminium foil, office accessories and beads. Those white traces all over is the glue, which should become transparent, when it's dry, anyway I was in a hurry yesterday to finish the card. So it's not quite clear yet here (it is now!).
Orange is the colour of INDUSTRIADA and Industrial Monuments Route, too.
It's too late to have fun at INDUSTRIADA, but you can still find this card on the following sites:
