Guardian Angel

My last photos gave me a little 'X-mas mood', so today I'm posting my X-mas card. And now I understand why all you crafters said on July: 'I'm a little bit late with my X-mas cards'! Gee, it's just around the corner and I have nothing! LOL
Anyway here is this sweet little Guardian Angel:
The digi is a freebie and you can find it HERE. This is also one of my first trials of coloring with watercolors. I added a glitter to the wings and some gems around the Angel.
And here's the best: I bought this top at a second hand store (it costed me peanuts) and I knew I had to make flowers from it!
And here are the flowers:
Here's the ribbon made from another second hand item embelished with beads:
The sentiment says of course 'Merry X-mas'.
The card is for the following challenges:

Winter is coming...

Remember last week, when I wrote about 'Polish Golden Autumn'? Well... 'Polish Golden Autumn' become 'Polish Unexpected Winter'! Just look at the pics I took yesterday walking home from school!
Doesn't it feel like Christmas?

Anyway, it's still an autumn, and this is the theme of our new fantastic challenge at
Photobucket
FALL
Everything that is related to fall: atmosphere, colors, leaves, weather. Just fall.
Our sponsor for October's challenges is
Floppy Lattes Digital Designs ::All Digital All The Time

My DT card is a little vintage, because this is what the fall brings to me: a vintage mood. All those colors, especially in a rainy day, makes me a little sentimental.
I used the sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges for this card.
I've chosen a sponsor's image and you can find it HERE. There are lots of silhouette digis there and I love them, it was hard to decide which one should I choose. The image is inked and distressed all around. The sentiment says: 'For your B'day - this is your day!'.
The flowers are made by me, as well as the bow. There are also some real stitches all around the card, hope you can see them. The faux stitches are behind the image.
You probably recognize those two hearts - they are the Marianne Design's dies. I have to admit that I have a problem using those dies with my Big Shot machine, it doesn't cut very well (especially small pieces), and there is no embossing, either. The other dies cut perfectly, only MD makes me wanna scream trying to tease out the paper from a die... Do you know any tips & tricks to improve it?
Inside the card you can find the same motives.
The card is also for the following challenges:

Let the music play!

My Mom keeps on challenging me placing orders that I have to think about hard LOL She works in a community health center in her town as an administrator (she's a nurse, but now she's working in an office). Her boss, the owner of the health center, was 50 lately. So my Mom ordered a card... yeah! a card! She only said that her boss loves vinyl records and the card will be signed by 80 people working at the center. YES. EIGHTY PEOPLE.
OMG!
I was thinking so hard, that finally I said like Scarlett O'Hara: 'I'll think about that tomorrow'.
And here's what came into my mind in the morning:
I made this record player in the front. And then
I made the inside like the multiple CD set. My Big Shot machine was very useful here, thank you, my friend! So, there are 8 inserts here, so the 80 people could sign comfortably. It looks like a 'Record # 1' or #2 or #3 and a track list then. Here are all the pages:
The stamp is a sentiment: 'For you B'day - this is your day'.
The 'title' of the record is '50th Anniversary Edition', as the boss is 50.
I've spent the whole last Sunday to make it, but it was worth it: people were delighted, an the boss was happy, too.

The limited edition of this record is available here:

A winner!

I just loooove such messages!
Yesterday I found out I won at

Thank you people, you really inspire me!

An apple a day...

After 2 weeks 'off' it's time to return to my DT duties! Here is a brand new & fresh challenge at
Photobucket
AN APPLE A DAY!
It's healthy, it's tasty and it's essential! For you!
So grab all your crafting tools and make some delicious projects!

My DT card was based at the Sunday Sketch & Stamp sketch. I like sketches, they give me a point to start, 'cos I still have problems with layouts.

And here's the card:
I was wondering what colors I should use, but then I looked through my window:
We call it a 'Polish Golden Autumn' here. Isn't it lovely?
Anyway, the digi is a free coloring page & you can find it HERE. I colored the digi with watercolors.
I have to admit, the apple looks delicious! Here in Poland, it's our 'national' fruit, but it's hard to find a really good apple recently. My Fiance ate one lately and his eye become a bubble - the apple was probably sprayed with chemicals and this was an allergic reaction. The funniest thing was, that I ate the same apple and nothing happened! Me! When I'm allergic to everything! LOL
The bow is handmade by me (infact: stitched), and the sentiment says: 'Lots of health!'.
I was also playing with my new Big Shot machine, I really like this grass! And the swirls are everywhere!!!
I'm challenging you to apple fight! Follow me here:

TOP 3

What a great beginning of a weekend! I just found out I made the TOP 3 at

with this card
It still feels weird seeing my own card at a challenge blog among other cards...
Thank you so much for picking me!
Love you, people!
Take care!

Baptism

Last night (yeah! NIGHT!) I've spent making this baptism card, 'cos it was the one I completely forgot to make! I have to concentrate more... Anyway I was in a hurry, so I used the sketch to halp myself. There was also my friend: the Big Shot machine, so I finished the card at 1 a.m. Here it is:
The sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches. I've been a little rebeliant here (as always), but it helped me a lot.

I put the sentiment on a tag and it says 'Souvenir of Baptism', there is also the baby girl's name: Gabriela and the date of ceremony.
I've used everything favourite recently: the stamp, the paper flowers and a butterfly.
There is also this little guardian angel:
I've used the same lace & stamps inside:
The card is for the following challenges:

I can fix it!

The days are running by, and I didn't notice it's almost November. I feel like somebody had stolen my weeks... I wake up, go to school, come back (or not), dance classes with kids, come back (or not), dance or fitness classes with adults, come back, sleep, all over again. At the weekend ordinary people play and make fun, me - I study. Thanks God it's the last year of studying!
Anyway, it's time to stop complaining!
I made this card for a friend's Father, who is a taxi driver and loves to tinker with the cars. He's turning 50 this year. So, here it is.
The digi is a coloring page and you can find it HERE. I colored the image with school colored pencils, 'cos I wanted to give the image a 'dirty', unfinished look.
The sentiment says 'All the best for you'. The charm I used is a combo of 4 keys - maybe for a car? Or a garage? Or car service? Who knows...
I've chosen purple to join black & white, I guess it's a 'male' color... hope the Car Mechanic will like it.
Need to fix a car? Here are some addresses for you:

Everything's gonna be alright!

This is a new week and a new challenge at
craftycreationschallenges
This time the theme is
GET WELL
The sponsor for this challenge is

My DT card is made according to the sketch from Retro Sketches Challenge Blog:

There was also this photo inspiration from {PIN}spirational Challenges, which suggested me the colors I should use:

For my card I used the sponsor's digital stamp Peek A Boo Sunshine:
I colored the stamp with a watercolors, anyway there was not much for coloring here... LOL I used the embossing folder borrowed from my friend to test it with my Big Shot machine, I'm still making investigations and expreiments with my brand new toy. The bow is made by me.
And I've finally used those sweet pom-poms - I've bought them ages ago, but had no idea how to use them. This time I was sure they should appear here.
The sentiment says "Everything's gonna be alright".
