It's the TGIF season! After the whole week at school and at my Studio I feel really tired. Now I have an excuse to sit in silence and craft a little LOL
Friday always starts well, because it starts with a brand new challenge at
and this week's theme is a little bit school related
BOOKMARKS
We all have those laptops, notebooks, netbooks, airbooks, but NOTHING is like sitting with a good book and feel the paper. A beautiful bookmark is very useful then.
Anyway, we have a sponsor of course, and it's
with their cute stamps.
I made a traditional bookmark, because it's my second bookmark I've ever made.
As a background I used some old books pages (English, German and Russian), which have been torn (I can't believe I did it) and distressed with blue and brown distress ink.
The image comes from our sponsor's stamp set and you can find it HERE. It is colored with promarkers and placed on a 3D foam.
For the rest of the bookmark I used some scraps and die cutted pieces from my stash, which were supposed to be used somewhere, but I've changed my mind.
This shaggy wool is from my Mum's stash.
