How to: give thanks

Tuesday, please be good to me! Monday is a history, so let the Tuesday begin with a brand new challenge at
Photobucket
and this time the theme is
MEMORIAL DAY
You can use anything relative to this occasion.

I made a 'thank you' card as my DT project, because this is the holiday unknown at my country. I've read some pages about that and I have to say it is a wonderful occasion to thank everyone that has done anything for the people to be free and happy at their countries. I used the colors of US flag, so I hope everything is fine.
I couln't find a proper image at my resources so I decided to use a classic stamp. The card is made according to a sketch from A Gem Of A Challenge and I hope it still counts that I used some sillicone stamps.

I have to admit I was very accurate with the sketch this time, no rebel LOL
These flowers are handmade - I used some good old punches for them and folded the flowers opposite way than I used to. Upwards.
The sentiment says of course 'Thank you".
Thank you for visiting my blog!
Join our challenge and celebrate Memorial Day!

How to: make a bookmark

It's getting harder to keep it all together: studies, work at school, afternoon work, training... Hey, it was Tuesday yesterday, and today is Tuesday again? Something is VERY wrong with my time!
No matter which Tuesday it is, it's surely time for the next challenge at
Photobucket
This time we have a little recipe for you:
3 flowers
2 buttons
1 ribbon
& many wonderful minutes of crafting.

This time I tried to make something new: a bookmark. This is my first bookmark EVER, so please don't be cruel for me... LOL
Here's this DT project on a plain background
I've had a lot of fun while crafting this. I used a text page as a background (from a Russian fairytale book). The flowers are handmade composed using some punches.
Here I added a lace, a tiny pom pom twine (?) and a piece of fabric. The buttons are from my stash, as well as the feathers.
This was a funny experience and I am sure I will try that again.
Thank you for visting my blog!

How to: celebrate Mother's Day with a sentiment

May this May be OK for you! Yay!
No, I'm not drunk, I'm just in a good mood... just for no reason. Infact I should be worry, 'cos I have got a hell-lot stuff to do, but...
... but today is Tuesday, so it's time for a brand new challenge at
Photobucket
which is
MOTHER'S DAY!
We do celebrate this occasion on 26th May here in Poland, but I can feel the Mother's Day heat now.
So grab your crafting tools and honor all Mums in the world... or just one.

My DT card is a sentiment-only card this time.
The sentiment says 'Mother's love is the bridge to all that is good now and in eternity'. How true! The sentiment is made by me in MS Word, so it's not too fancy. LOL
The background paper is one of these vintage flower papers that you keep for special occasions. Mine has been bought almost a year ago, but I still have it.
All the details are upcycled here: the rose is handmade from a coffee filter, the red ribbon, the red mesh and the brown material are from a bouquet and the kraft paper is the back side of a drawing pad.
And now for something completely different:
I was taking my pictures of this card in a bedroom and when I came back I was shocked with the mess I made, so I had to take one more pic. My apartament isn't too big and I have no special place to craft, so I annex the biggest table in the biggest room. If you wanna eat a meal, you have to do it on the couch, with the plate on your knees LOL Fortunately my fiance is very tolerant.
This is not all, my Big Shot and all the ribbon and textile mess is in another corner, but I will have a mercy on you LOL
Thank you for visiting my blog!

How to: celebrate a baby boy

Infact we are celebrating a long May weekend here in Poland - there are two holidays one close to the other: on 1st May we are having a Labor Day and on 3rd May it is the Constitution Day. Lots of schools, offices and shops are closed for the whole week. And so is mine, weeee!
Before I start to celebrate, we have a brand new challenge at
Photobucket
which is
YES! ANYTHING GOES!
I know you all like this one, so keep on entering!

My DT card celebrates a new baby boy. Didn't you notice that lots of babies are being born on April / May? Is it the 'summer holiday' effect? LOL
For making the main image I used the Viva Decor stamp set. I also added some scraps of paper and buttons that are with me since the very beginning.
This adorable little boy charm I bought at a jewellery crafting store - I couldn't resist to add it here.
The sentiment says of course 'Congratulations'. And this twine around is the same twine my Mum is using for knitting her New Born Baby sets. This could be nice to receive both clothes and a card with the same twine, I guess.
Thank you for visiting my blog and join our challenge - your favourite one!

How to: drive a fast car

Hope you all have had nice Monday and your Tuesday will be awesome, too.
Tuesday means there is another challenge at
Photobucket
and the theme this time is
CLEAN & SIMPLE
You can make any card, any theme but keep it simple.

My DT card is for a boy, a little fan of fast cars.
This card is made according to the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge

The digi is of course from Sliekje Digi Stamps and you can find it HERE. It is colored with promarkers.
I used some scraps left from other cards to make these arrows. I also used an embossing folder, my new border die cut and three little stars. The paper behind the image is inked with distressing ink.
The sentiment is a rubber stamp and it says 'Best wishes'.
Thank you for visiting my blog and join our challenge to win the monthly prize!
This card is also for the following challenges:

How to: have a tea party

Spring has sprung really dynamically, so the nature just explodes!
To calm down I suggest a cup of tea, which is a medicine for everything (yes, I am the tea-type of a person) LOL
Tea is also the new challenge at
Photobucket
and it's
TEA FOR TWO!
Nice and easy... and creative one.

My DT card is made according to the Crafty Catz sketch (hugs from here, Ladies!)

which I rotated and a color challenge from Cupcake Inspirations, which is my favourite color combo:

So, please, enjoy your tea:
This sweet image is from Beary Wishes - it's a freebie and you can grab it HERE. The image is colored with promarkers and this time I am very glad of the effect.
All those flowers are handmade - the blue roses are made from regular color paper and the brown rose is made from a coffee filter (sorry, no tea filter... LOL). The button inside is oh so old I can't even remember.
The sentiment is in our regional language and it says 'I am inviting you for a chit-chat... and a cup of tea'. It was supposed to remind the tea-bag labels.
I am also glad with this border die cut from Cottage Cutz - it suits here perfectly!
Thank you for visiting my blog!
This card is also for the following challenges:

How to: clown around

Have you seen spring? Neeeeh, me either... Hope she'll finally find the way.
Maybe this challenge will improve your mood, because at
Photobucket
we are CLOWNING AROUND!
Make a fun card with a clown on it! Have fun! Make fun! Feel the fun!
OK, Anna, calm down...

I decided to make a sweet card for a child probably.
The card is made according to the sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp:

This adorable little clown-doll is a free coloring page and you can grab it HERE. It is colored with promarkers and I added a little pompon to the hat.
The color palette is inspired by the color challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity:

Here I used my freshly-bought die cut from Joy Crafts. When I cut it, it seemed too 'naked' so I added a sentiment made of gems. It says '100 years!' (you shall live, this is a kind of 'Happy B'day' in our country - live long and healthy).
The second sentiment is a stamp and it says 'Best wishes'. I screwed it up, that's why it looks like this LOL I think I am the most creative when I make something soooo wrooooong!
I also used a 3D tape for the clown to make him more 'sit' on the banners.
Thank you for visiting my blog!
There's also a candy  here, all you have to do to win is to enter.
With this card I'm entering the following challenges:
